Email Starter Guide
If you own your own domain name and we are hosting this for you, email addresses based on your domain name (e.g. email@example.com) are a part of your NetMusician service.
You have two main options for how you would like your email handled:
- Hosted on NetMusician, accessed through NetMusician Webmail or through a standalone email program such as Outlook, OS X Mail, Thunderbird, Entourage, Outlook Express, etc.
- Redirected to an existing email account hosted elsewhere

Drawbacks with redirecting your mail to an existing email account
- We cannot help you trace and troubleshoot problems with mail delivery. That is, once your email has been forwarded off of our servers, we cannot help you with email bounces, lags, or other problems with delivery
- Vacation auto-response, shared email folders will not work. While email redirected to another account will still be checked for spam, your email host may not deal with messages NetMusician has flagged as spam properly.
